www.gametrailers.com/player/37679.htmlIt was posted on GTtv on July 29th. Police show up, possible introduction and/or cut scene from the story mode too. Doesn't look to contain any gameplay footage however.

Oh man I CAN'T wait 'till I get remix for PSP! The trailer is better than the NFS:Undercover trailer. Even though Undercover is basically a story/undercover game like F&F, I thought there should be NO story for MC, so basically I like just pure racing games.

I'm kind of the opposite there, I wanted MC3 to have MORE of a story. Otherwise it just gets repetitive of find someone, race them, repeat. Maybe throwing a tournament in here or there, but even those just become race after race and nothing more. The closest thing you had to a character at all was the garage owners and they were stereotypes of each ethnic group they represent and never really did much more than exist or explain what a certain button or feature did.
I think I'll really like NFS:Under Cover for the fact it should HAVE a story. Then again I actually like reading as opposed to most teenagers.
I also really liked the first F&F movie. The sequels...not so much.

I also really liked the first F&F movie. The sequels...not so much. Same here yo! Im kinda glad there is no huge attempt at a story, because if it bombs (Pro street, carbon) then it kinda brings down the entire game. This though is nice and simple: race to win to customize your cars and build up your garage. I agree the "story" mc3 had was a fail. Maybe this time they wont go on steroyo types alone, but from the looks of the trailer, all LA people talk like they are in the ghetto

I never played NFS:Carbon outside of the PSP, and I actually like the storyline of NFS:C: Own the City. Then again I also hate that game because it has Lucky 7's as one of the crews and people think that's where I got the idea... ProStreet sucked all together, the basic concept of the story was Ryo is the best of the best, and he's cocky. You're nobody to him, go beat him. Classic underdog rise to power story, BUT there was no real character development. It was all pretty straight forward, Ryo was an ass, and regardless of how much you lost you could still make it through the "story". We all know Rockstar has a great writing staff. Just look at the GTA series. I love playing those games just to see what's going to happen next. After I beat the story, I'll usually do it again to see what I could change. I also like them because the characters are more than just a name and face. They have personalities. It's not crazy to think R* can turn out a decent story for a game.

If R* takes the writers from the GTA series and gets them to make the story MC:LA that would be awesome instead of getting other writers to do it. GTA has always had those rise to the top stories and they have worked through-out every game! I think that whole idea would work great for MC:LA.. just without the gangs and killing and M for Mature rating

As long as there free roam online, and a decent physics engine i'm happy. I would prefer a story, i like the storys in games like NFSU (1 only), NFSC and MW. As stated the MC3 story was... well there was no story. Also traffic and cops online (option to turn on and off) would be a nice addition. Oh and a nice variety of roads rather then just city streets + highway. Twisty mountain sections, maybe even a race track similar to the TDU track?

I'm pretty sure there won't be a real track. It's a STREET racing game addind a track would be like taking the NFS series and making the racing legal...nevermind
>.> <.<
All city streets and freeway, BUT there is a wangan style race mode exclusive to the freeway which is nice. I'm over 17 so I could care less what a game is rated. Lol.

how do u know the modes? I just hope they add some tuner parts inaddition to dub parts b/c MC3 seemed to be all dub themed (some of the body kits were over the top, crome all over the place, crome-only wheels, etc.) I hope they keep the nos color selecter lol

Not that anyone else would care, but I read somewhere a while ago that they'd have 3 team ctf, which sounds like fun imo =].
Also pat, in the lastest article on gamespot they say you can customize almost everything down to the stitching on your seats.
