Ok. So im torn between getting 1 (for now) of two really awesome games, BP and PS. They are both awesome, and both have their unique properties. Below are the reasons.
Burnout Paradise-
cruising through city similar to TDU
killer graphics
really fun
fast paced
chaotic at times
awesome modes like road rage, etc.
stunning crashes
lead-up damage before the car is totaled
ive alrdy got a save going since ive rented it before, and played it to death
75 cars, spanning from new cars to cars seen in Burnout 2, 3, and 4
not paying for damage
freeroam
currently loving the demo
ProStreet-
know what to expect, only 100x better than what ive alrdy played (ps2 version)
realistic damage
real cars
customization
"sim" like physics
kickass smoke effects
lots of tuner cars, etc.
slower paced
race tracks and no freeroam
pay for damage
more repetitive
itd be the 3rd time doing career % 1-16 (on my 2nd ps2 profile, so this would be like a 3rd)
more cars than the ps2 version (which is the only version ive played)
played the demo and enjoyed it somewhat
Im seriously leaning towards BP, mainly for its replay value. When friends come over, they will be able to enjoy BP more, b/c it wont be like a poor imitation of forza or gt. That and ppl love seing their car being launched in the air, smached up, and barelrolling in slo mo after a crash, AND it is insanely fun when the AI driver wipes out in front of you because there is a ton of debris that flys thru the air.
Oh, btw, if you get a chance, dl the FlatOut UC demo. The graphics are awesome, although if uve played Flatout 2, youve seen the demo tracks before, but ther is a TON of smashable objects on the tracks to hit which is fun in itself.
Thanks for helping me decide! (if you voted).
And if you have any other reasons to pic one over another, id like to hear them
