hi all:)
well...i placed an order today for the logitech g27 and i am looking for list of pc games that that supports realistic clutch and 6 speed shifter.
when i said realistic clutch i meant that if you will drop the clutch , the car's engine will go off like in the reall life ;D
can you list few games for me?

Hmm, I haven't played many pc racing games, just like the original Need for Speed Hot Pursuit lol. And just skimming over the list on gamespot, I'm not seeing many that do support clutch use.

You might not get many which will actively stall the engine, but there will be a fair few with clutch support. I'm going to guess though I cannot confirm, iRacing, rFactor, Live For Speed and I'm pretty sure Test Drive Unlimited has clutch support also.

TDU is the most arcadey of the bunch, so the clutch may only function as a button with no real 'bite' though it's hard to find a bite on a G25/27 clutch as there's no variable resistance so you can't feel the bite in your foot.
As you said though TDU is open world and I personally find that much more enjoyable for just driving though of course for racing tracks work just fine.

The clutch support may well be realistic I'm not sure, but the physics are definately the least realistic of the little list I made. On another note that's alot of high quality mods for those games (save iRacing which may not have many), so you can get plenty of new cars into your game that can't be found any other way as well as different physics and sounds.

ok..till now i collected a nice list of racing games/sims like gtr2 and rfactor and tdl and i heard that need for speed pro street supports manual clutch.
live for speed, i know is a good one, cause i installed it in the far past while i was using very crapy wheel with 2 pedals and i configured the breake pedal as the clutch pedal and it worked great. also some saying that richard burns rally with 6 shifter patch is one of the most realistic sims around, so..i have got it too:D...all left now is to get finaly the damn wheel:) should be here till the next weekend.

Pro Street is one of few games which on console you could use the clutch on a gamepad, but the physics were somewhat sub-par so compared to all those other games it's not to good.
Also, I can back up those claims about RBR, it is a very very good sim.

I assume the clutch works on PC also seeing as it has it on console when very few titles do on consoles period let alone multi-platform ones like Pro Street. The actual driving on Pro Street is rather lame though in my book.
