Random game I ran across on gamespot..looks like it could be a nice change from nfsps. It uses the DiRT physics engine and based on the dirt and the videos i watched, it looks like the it could turn out to be a pretty decent game. here's an interveiw on gamespot that i found www.gamespot.com/video/939159/6187093/grid-interview

They said they're using the Dirt physics, which if i remember right, they were pretty fun. I've never played the old ones tho, but idk, might be fun.

O...M...G... IT LOOKS GORGEOUS!!! Check these actual gameplay screens out (on 360) DAYUM!! I might have to check this out. The smoke looks alot like PS's, and the rest of the game will be more sim based, which imo is better than PS's phyics, AND there is drifting. Hmmm. Any1 know the release?

eh, it looks like it might have very basic customization, look at the white camaro. Either that or when you buy a part it puts the brand's decal on your car.

It better have some type of customization... Or it's going to be very lame in a way.

Anyone getting this now that it's out? Im going to rent it for sure! But, the lack of customization/tuning keeps me from buying it. =[ I hear it has a fabulous selection of tracks though. =]

I wish it was more like old Race Driver games, don't like these new physics where every turns a doddle.

I have picked up this game and frankly I love it. Customization is limited to choosing a paint scheme for your team and choosing which sponsors go where. The sponsors aren't based on parts you buy (because you don't) but on your performance, like real racing. The sponsors pay you based on how well you race and meet their expectations. The Physics, like Dragonistic said are a tad bit simplified, AT FIRST. The demo doesn't do the game justice. In the full version you can turn off things like antilock brakes, stability control, traction control, and a few other things to make you really have to be able to drive the car. If you don't buy this game, at least rent it. I highly recommend it.
